Dr. Vaccari has been at the forefront of clinical and scientific advances in reproduction for the last 15 years and has been widely recognized for his research on oocyte maturation and embryo culture technology. He’s most well-known for developing a non-invasive assessment of frozen embryo viability. During his fellowships at Stanford University and UCSF, he discovered that key signaling pathways were necessary to facilitate egg maturation and development. Dr. Vaccari’s research and discoveries in egg and embryo development have led to numerous publications in peer-reviewed, scientific journals. Dr. Vaccari holds a PhD in Cellular Technology from The Department of Human Embryology and Histology in Rome, and a BS in Biology from The Italian Institute of Health. He also holds a professional certification as a High-complexity Clinical Lab Director.
Dr. Vaccari credits his lovely wife, Dr. Torcia, for introducing him to the study of eggs and embryos, and the miracle of IVF for helping them achieve their dream of a beautiful family. He looks forward to helping others fulfill their dreams of creating a happy, healthy family through IVF.
