Dr. Murugappan is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist as well as a board certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She completed her Fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, as well as Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University. Prior to completing her Residency at Stanford, Dr. Murugappan received her Doctor of Medicine at the Harvard-MIT Division of Health, Sciences and Technology, graduating Cum Laude, and her Bachelors of Science at Johns Hopkins University, where she majored in Biomedical Engineering and Spanish Literature
Dr. Murugappan is passionate about leveraging clinical research to improve patient outcomes, and has authored numerous publications in the field’s leading peer-reviewed journals including seminal contributions to the field on topics ranging from recurrent pregnancy loss, preimplantation genetic screening, and fertility as a marker of overall health. Dr. Murugappan has been a recipient of multiple grants including funding from the National Institutes of Health in support of her research. She speaks both Spanish and Tamil and is looking forward to helping patients achieve their goals as a member of the Spring Fertility family.
