OUR FERTILITY SERVICES IN SOMA

SOMA covers the appointment side of treatment. The two San Francisco clinics run as one program, so nothing restarts when your cycle progresses.

  • IVF & IUI: Planning and cycle monitoring downtown, with retrieval and transfer performed at Pacific Heights.
  • Egg Freezing: Egg cryopreservation using vitrification, chosen for how quickly it cools eggs and reduces ice-crystal risk.
  • Embryo Freezing: Storage for embryos created during an IVF cycle and held for transfer at a later date.
  • Genetic Counseling: A counselor helps you decide which screening makes sense for you, then interprets what comes back.
  • Integrative Services: IVF/IUI Support Group, Solo Parenthood Support Group, Pregnancy Loss Support Group, Fertility Wellness Counseling, and Donor Tissue Counseling.
  • Egg Donation: Donor eggs sourced through Nest Donor Bank, with guidance on choosing a donor and on the steps that come after.
  • LGBTQ+ Care: Care for LGBTQ+ patients building families, spanning donor gametes and gestational carrier arrangements.
  • Donor Sperm: Sperm from screened donors, used in either an IUI or an IVF cycle.
  • Gestational Carriers: The medical portion of a gestational carrier cycle runs through Spring. Agencies handle matching and the legal side.

WHAT MAKES OUR FERTILITY CLINIC DIFFERENT?

The Spring Difference is about who’s beside you. One physician and one patient navigator stay with you from your first call onward, whether you’re in the SOMA office or at Pacific Heights for a procedure.

  • Downtown Convenience: The clinic occupies Suite 222 inside the Salesforce Transit Center, with the entrance off Beale Street between Mission and Howard. For anyone working South of Market, a monitoring visit fits into a workday without crossing the city.
  • Connected to Pacific Heights: SOMA and Pacific Heights operate as a single program. Consultations and monitoring take place downtown, and any procedure, including egg retrieval and embryo transfer, is scheduled at the Pacific Heights center.
  • Physician-Led Care: You have the opportunity to see your doctor at every visit, and a care team stays with you between appointments.
  • Personalized Protocols: Treatment plans start from your own numbers. Ovarian reserve, hormone panels, prior cycles, and what you are trying to achieve shape the approach. Minimal stimulation protocols, fresh transfers, and egg or embryo banking cycles are available where they fit the plan.

FERTILITY SUCCESS STORIES FROM OUR SOMA CLINIC

Freezing your eggs can be a scary process… now throw in being a transgender man who is freezing your eggs, and that’s another layer of anticipated discomfort. Fortunately, my experience at Spring Fertility was far from that. From start to finish, Dr. Zore and the Spring Fertility team created an affirming, inclusive, and educational experience – a true north star for all fertility practices. Their focus was on me as a person, what my fertility goals were and what they can do to support me.

E | SOMA

Spring Fertility provided the best healthcare experience I’ve ever had, bar none. Dr. Temeka Zore was extremely thorough, skilled, and kind, and she really supported me throughout my medical journey with Spring. The nursing and office staff were prompt, efficient, and care, as well. I can’t say enough good things about Spring – through several weeks of treatment ups and downs, they were right there with me with effective communication and truly exceptional care. I wish all healthcare experiences could be this seamless – thank you, Spring!
