Dr. Lee graduated from Harvard University, cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Comparative Religion. He then graduated from Yale University School of Medicine, also cum laude, before completing his Residency at Harvard Medical School and Fellowship at University of Washington School of Medicine.
Dr. Lee’s research focus is on fertility preservation for cancer survivors and ovarian tissue transplantation. He feels that it is a privilege to be able to take care of patients and get to know them as people. He also enjoys the challenge of reproductive surgery and the ability to help patients in a very tangible way.
A Portland native, Dr. Lee’s first job at OHSU was in high school. From this research experience, he was compelled to pursue a career in academic medicine. In his leisure time, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his two sons, hiking, fishing, biking, swimming and being outdoors.
