Fertility Care That Starts With Your Situation

That is exactly why Spring Fertility builds every treatment plan around the individual patient. Your protocol is shaped by your ovarian reserve, your medical history, and what you are trying to achieve.

Fertility Services for Lakewood, CO Patients

All major fertility treatments are available to Lakewood-area patients through Spring Fertility’s Colorado clinic.

IVF and IUI

IVF and IUI are the two most common fertility treatment pathways. In vitro fertilization involves retrieving eggs, fertilizing them in the lab under carefully controlled conditions, and transferring a resulting embryo to the uterus.

Intrauterine insemination is a less invasive option that places a prepared sperm sample into the uterus at the time of ovulation. Your physician will assess your situation and recommend the right starting point.

Egg Freezing

Egg freezing gives Lakewood patients the ability to bank their eggs now and use them later, preserving eggs at their current biological quality at their current age. Spring Fertility’s vitrification process achieves a 92% thaw survival rate. The clinic accepts egg freezing patients under age 44.

Qualifying cycles are backed by the Spring Promise, a shared-risk program for patients who freeze 20 eggs before age 35 or 30 eggs before age 38 and do not achieve a successful pregnancy with Spring. Qualifying patients may be eligible for a refund of their egg freezing cycle costs. Self-pay patients only; IVF, anesthesia, and medications excluded.

Embryo Freezing

Embryo freezing follows an IVF cycle and gives patients the option to store fertilized embryos for future use. It is also used when preimplantation genetic testing is planned before transfer. More than 99% of embryos survive cryopreservation, and storage can continue for as long as needed.

LGBTQ+ Family Building

Spring Fertility serves LGBTQ+ individuals and couples in Lakewood with family-building options including reciprocal IVF, donor sperm and egg coordination, and gestational carrier support. Every path to parenthood is handled with the same clinical rigor and respect for what each patient is trying to build.

Gestational Carrier Services

When carrying a pregnancy is not a safe option, Spring Fertility coordinates gestational carrier services on behalf of Lakewood patients. A carrier is identified through a trusted agency, and an embryo created through IVF is transferred to the carrier’s uterus. Spring Fertility manages the medical side of coordination throughout.

Genetic Testing and Counseling

Preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A) is available for Lakewood patients transferring embryos. Testing screens for chromosomal abnormalities before transfer, which raises success rates and lowers miscarriage risk. Spring Fertility also offers preconception carrier screening and PGT-M for patients with identified heritable conditions.

How Fertility Treatment Works at Spring Fertility

Your First Appointment

At your initial consultation, your physician will complete a pelvic ultrasound to assess your antral follicle count, run hormone blood tests including AMH and FSH, and go through your reproductive and medical history in detail.

That combination gives your physician a clear starting point for recommending a treatment approach. Most additional testing wraps up within one menstrual cycle of that visit.

Your Personalized Treatment Plan

Your treatment plan is personalized to your age, ovarian reserve, diagnosis, treatment history, and individual goals. Spring Fertility physicians draw from more than 15 stimulation protocols to select the approach best suited to you, including your medications, doses, and timing.

Personalization continues throughout treatment. Your physician monitors how your follicles respond and adjusts your plan as needed based on your individual response.

Monitoring, Retrieval, and Transfer

Ovarian stimulation typically involves 4 to 6 monitoring visits where ultrasounds and blood work confirm follicle growth and medication response. Egg retrieval takes 20 minutes under general anesthesia, and most Lakewood patients return to their routine the following day.

Embryo transfers are precisely timed to your cycle, with a pregnancy test following approximately 11 to 13 days later.
