Thyroid testing is not a standalone measure of fertility. When testing is appropriate, results are interpreted alongside symptoms, medical history and the broader reproductive evaluation.
Why Might Thyroid Testing Be Recommended?

Which Thyroid Tests May Be Used?

Additional Thyroid Testing

How Are Thyroid Test Results Interpreted?
Thyroid test results are interpreted using the specific laboratory measurements, symptoms, medical history and whether someone is trying to conceive or is pregnant. TSH is commonly used as an initial measure, with additional testing performed when appropriate.
Underactive Thyroid Function
